Future of TV Canada Ticket Giveaway — Hosted by Canadian Ad Insider

1. SPONSOR
This contest ("Contest") is sponsored by DJF Enterprise Inc. ("Sponsor"), operating the website Canadian Ad Insider (canadianadinsider.com), located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
2. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins on July 17, 2026, at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Daylight Time ("EDT") and ends on September 15, 2026, at 11:59:59 PM EDT (the "Contest Period"). Entries received outside the Contest Period will be void.
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open only to:
- Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry;
- Individuals who are currently employed or engaged in the marketing or advertising industry;
- Individuals who have fewer than 5 (five) years of cumulative professional experience in marketing, advertising, or public relations as of the Contest start date;
- Individuals with access to the Internet at the time of entry.
Not eligible: Employees, officers, directors, and agents of the Sponsor, Future of TV Canada (Adwanted Group), their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising or promotional agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, child) or household members of any such person, are not eligible to participate.
By entering, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time. Winners may be required to provide documentation confirming their eligibility (including, but not limited to, a LinkedIn profile URL, resumé, or letter from an employer) before a prize is awarded. Failure to provide satisfactory documentation will result in disqualification and the prize being awarded to an alternate winner.
4. HOW TO ENTER
Method of entry — Online (free): During the Contest Period, visit the Contest page at profectio.com/dpaa-contest/ and complete the entry form with your full name, a valid email address, your professional category (Brand or Agency), and your years of experience. You must accept the Official Contest Rules and Privacy Policy to complete your entry. Completion of the form constitutes one (1) entry.
Limit: One (1) entry per person, per email address. Multiple entries from the same person or email address will be void.
Bonus Entries: Participants may earn additional contest entries through the following optional bonus actions (not required to enter):
- Sharing the Contest referral link on LinkedIn: +1 entries
- Sharing the Contest referral link on X (Twitter): +1 entries
- Sharing the Contest referral link via email to at least one colleague: +1 entries
- Each eligible person who submits a valid entry through the participant's unique referral link: +1 entries (no maximum)
Bonus entries are credited to the referring participant's total only upon verification that a unique action has been taken. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify bonus entries obtained through fraudulent or automated means.
Automated, programmatic, scripted, robotic, or other entries not submitted through normal human operation of the entry form are prohibited and will be void.
5. PRIZES
Prize Pool: 10 (ten) complimentary conference admission tickets to the Future of TV Canada (the "Event"), scheduled to be held at The Carlu, Toronto, September 29, 2026.
Prize Allocation: Prizes are divided into two separate pools:
- 5 (five) tickets awarded to entrants who identified as Brand-side professionals
- 5 (five) tickets awarded to entrants who identified as Agency-side professionals
Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $900 CAD per ticket.
Prize includes: Conference admission only. The prize does not include travel, accommodation, meals (unless provided as part of the Event), parking, transportation, or any other expenses. All incidental expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Prize Conditions: Tickets are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash value. The Sponsor is not responsible for tickets becoming unavailable due to Event cancellation, postponement, or other circumstances beyond the Sponsor's control. In the event a ticket cannot be awarded as described, the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, at its sole discretion.
6. DRAW AND WINNER SELECTION
Draw: On or about September 15, 2026, 10 winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Brand-side winners and Agency-side winners will be drawn from their respective pools independently. The draw will be conducted by a Sponsor representative.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received and each entrant's total entry count (including bonus entries).
Winner Notification: Each selected winner will be notified by email at the address provided at the time of entry within [5] business days of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted within [5] business days of the first notification attempt, or if a winner fails to respond within [5] business days of notification, or is found to be ineligible, that winner will be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
Winner Verification: Selected winners must: (a) confirm acceptance of the prize in writing; (b) provide satisfactory proof of eligibility (see Section 3); and (c) complete any required skill-testing question (a requirement under Canadian contest law) before the prize is released.
Skill-Testing Question: As a condition of awarding the prize, the selected potential winner must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. For example: (12 × 4) ÷ 2 − 10 = ?
Winner List: The names of the winners will be announced on profectio.com and/or via the Profectio newsletter within [14] days of the draw date.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend this Contest, or any part thereof, in the event of fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control that corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest.
- By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest.
- Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
- The Sponsor is not responsible for: late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries; Internet connectivity failures; hardware or software malfunctions; printing errors; or other errors of any kind relating to this Contest.
- The Sponsor's failure to enforce any provision of these rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
8. PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY
Personal information collected through this Contest will be used by the Sponsor for the purposes of administering the Contest, including determining eligibility, notifying winners, and awarding prizes. If you provide optional consent to subscribe to the Profectio newsletter, your information will also be used for that purpose.
Your information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to administer this Contest (including DPAA for prize fulfillment), or as required by law. You may withdraw your newsletter subscription consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email. Withdrawal of newsletter consent does not affect your contest entry.
Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA or applicable provincial privacy legislation.
9. PUBLICITY
By accepting a prize, each winner grants the Sponsor a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use their name, general location, and likeness for promotional purposes related to this Contest, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering, participants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, DPAA, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, damages, or liability arising from or related to participation in this Contest or acceptance or use of any prize.
11. GOVERNING LAW
This Contest is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of [Ontario/your province] and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from this Contest shall be resolved in the courts of [Province].
12. QUEBEC RESIDENTS
Note for the Sponsor: If the total ARV of all prizes exceeds $2,000 CAD, this Contest may be subject to registration with the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (RACJ) of Quebec under the Act Respecting Lotteries, Publicity Contests and Amusement Machines. Consult a Quebec-licensed lawyer or contest administrator before accepting Quebec entries if this threshold is met.
