Green Goddess Veggie & Green Goddess Rotisserie-Style ChickenAs they continue to put on the pressure, QSR brand Subway Canada has released the next piece of creative as part of their “The Eat Fresh.
Refresh” journey, and this enlisting an NHL champion.  Subway has drafted NHL Hall-of-Famer Mark Messier for their latest spot (see below) helping to promote the brand’s three new sandwiches, which include Green Goddess Veggie, Green Goddess Rotisserie-Style Chicken and the Stampede BBQ Grilled Chicken subs – all featuring Canadian-Grown Vegetables sourced during peak harvest seasons and Canadian-raised protein.

“The first phase of our Eat Fresh Refresh truly resonated with Canadians – bringing five signature creations, new toppings and bread, and the momentum doesn’t stop there! The next iteration features two bold sauces – our Green Goddess dressing and Sweet & Smoky BBQ sauce, and three new sandwiches, both integral pieces of our refresh puzzle,” said Doug Fry, Subway Canada Country Director. “At its core, the refresh is more than simply updates to our menu; it’s about showing Canadians we listen to what they want and pride ourselves on delivering the quality, service, and value they deserve.”

Subway Canada leveraged a mix of marketing channels for the campaign including TV creative, public relations, social content, influencer partnerships, digital media and CRM newsletter distribution, and of course the Subway Canada app.
