Walmart Canada has a new holiday campaign that is being delivered with a little help from their agency partner Cossette.

While many Canadians are being a little extra cost conscious this holiday season the retailer want to ensure nothing in the way of creating a magical Christmas for the family.

Walmart has brought back holiday hero Teddy to showcase its assortment of gifts and delivery options, which help make Christmas affordable for all Canadians.

Walmart Canada decide to leverage a combination of television, OLV, Cineplex spots, as well as paid and organic social to show consumers how shopping at Walmart will create enchantment in their home this season.

“It’s becoming harder and harder to pull off the kind of Christmas families want for their loved ones, which is why the holiday season is so important to Walmart,” says Agatha Wronecka, VP, Marketing Communications at Walmart Canada. “We know we can play a small role in helping Canadians get everything they want and need to make the holiday special for their loved ones, at the best possible prices. We want everyone to have the Christmas they’ve imagined.”

“We’re back this holiday with Walmart’s beloved Teddy, who we find shipping off happy toys to homes for Christmas. Among them is Bernice, a shy, not-so-perfect stuffed animal eager to leap from the shelf into the perfect child’s arms, and while it’s touch and go for a moment, her wish eventually comes true,” says team Dana Ciani & Alyssa Graff, Creative Directors at Cossette. “With a lot of parents worried about making Christmas count this year, we wanted to ease a bit of the concern. The moral of the story? When you Christmas with Walmart, no one gets left behind.”
