Bell Media recently launched their new CTV App for iPad, which lets users enter a unique, curated chat environment that includes tweets from cast members, Facebook comments and other insider and public commentary from across the social web, acting as a companion during primetime television shows.
Today they have announced that Lexus Canada has signed on as the presenting sponsor of the app, a first of its kind in Canada. Lexus will take the opportunity to promote their Lexus CT 200H, a hybrid luxury sportback. As part of the partnership, Lexus is included in all digital promotions for the app and will be integrated into the pre-roll for on-demand streaming of CTV’s most popular prime time shows.

“We couldn’t be happier about Lexus being the sponsor of the CTV social app for iPad,” said Nancy McConnell, Director of Digital Sales, Bell Media Digital. “This is truly an innovative project for us, and we’re thrilled Lexus is coming on board.”

“Lexus is pleased to be a part of the launch of the CTV social app for iPad,” said Larry Hutchinson, Director of Lexus in Canada. “This is the perfect new platform to profile the performance and innovation of the Lexus CT 200h, the world’s first luxury sportback hybrid, and the CT’s new F-sport edition, with advanced technology and intuitive design.”

Also, the app allows users to on-demand stream select CTV and CTV Two new programs and returning hits in primetime, late-night and daytime. For information and programming details, visit CTV.ca/app.
