With their recent financing round of $5 million in the bank, Wave Accounting announced today it has acquired Winnipeg-based Small Payroll, for an undisclosed sum.
Small Payroll was launched in 2009 by Sean Walberg, an application Developer who sought out to create a simple tool for business owners to help manage their payrolls. Wave plans to rebrand and relaunch as Wave Payroll with a beta release in Canada this quarter, and in the US in early 2012.
