With divisions including Mighty and their public relations agency Narrative, Bensison Byrne is on the hunt to expand their offering. This morning they have announced their lates acquisition, OneMethod which offers social, mobile, content, web. The firm was launched in 2001 by Founder and Chief Creative Officer Amin Todai.
Clients include such brands as Nokia, Intuit, Sony, Quiznos, Biore and Toronto Raptors.

“We believe we must regularly replenish the ‘edge’ that allows us to challenge convention, while continuing to provide the sobriety necessary to work effectively with large corporations,” said Jack Bensimon, President, Bensimon Byrne. “Through this acquisition, Bensimon Byrne will continue to excel at delivering what’s now while OneMethod will excel at developing what’s next.”

“We’ve considered other partnerships over the years. But in Bensimon Byrne we found a meeting of minds and vision that makes a strong cultural and strategic fit,” said Amin Todai. “We have an ambition to attract more global work and do it differently than anything in market and we’re very proud to do it with Bensimon Byrne’s experience, leadership and resources at our fingertips.”

The majority of OneMethod’s business comes from the US and UK. OneMethod also specializes in athlete branding and has provided services to NBA players Chris Bosh, Steve Nash, and Amir Johnson, and to MLB player Nick Swisher. They are also first-to-market leaders in unexpected projects like La Carnita, a pop-up restaurant and social media experiment combining tacos and art.  Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
