Dealfind has hit a new milestone, the daily deal site has turned 2 today, and has launched a new campaign to help celebrate.  The site launched back in May 2010 and to date they has said they have helped North American consumers save over $530 million on items such as restaurants, spas, salons, automotive services, home services, jewelry, electronics, cosmetics, hotels.

To help celebrate the day, Dealfind will be rewarding all its customers with a 24-hour $5 Dealfind promo code as a thank you for being part of the company’s tremendous success. The company is also giving away a Louis Vuitton handbag and a just released new iPad to celebrate its young birthday.

“We are humbled by the success we’ve encountered over the last two years,” said Dealfind Co-Founder and President Gary Lipovetsky. “It’s remarkable that since our initial launch in Toronto, we have expanded to 70 other North American cities and saved our customers more than a half of a billion dollars – we’re extremely proud of that fact. We know we’re helping people get the most of their hard-earned dollars by bringing them exclusive deals on the goods and services they both need and want.”

In May 2011, Dealfind secured $31 million in funding, the company used the funds to pour back into hiring, launch their iPhone and Android apps, and partnered with Google Offers, giving participating businesses the chance to be featured on Google Offers as well at no extra cost.

In just two years, Dealfind has spread to consumers in 41 U.S. markets and 30 markets in Canada. Along with this vast market expansion, Dealfind has continued to find new ways for consumers to save money in addition to traditional daily deals. Over the last year, Dealfind added Travel, Product and Everyday Deals, presenting customers with a greater variety of discounts to choose from.
