According to Reuters, the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has said it will be launching a mobile wallet next month, the details have been extremely sparse, especially who they would partner with. If you recall, CIBC and Rogers announced the two announced back in May their own mobile wallet, of course fast forward five months later and the product still have not appeared on the market. As we were at this year’s Mobile Money conference there still was no official launch date when Rogers & CIBC customers would be able to tap and go.
So for now, we’re going to file this in story in the “one day we’ll” box.
