Olive Media has been that it has won the exclusive representation in Canada of ShareThis, which allows online publishers to integrate the ShareThis button. Once clicked readers can share content on various social networking sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Google.
With the addition of ShareThis to Olive Media’s audience solutions, they can now help advertisers reach over 73% of the Canadian Internet audience1 and address social audiences on a variety of interest-based categories such as shopping, entertainment, technology, automotive, and finance.
Update: ShareThis also recently closed $23 million in its series C funding round, led by Deutsche Telekom’s VC arm, T-Venture. Other participants in the round included Harbourton and Fifth Third Capital, as well as a number of existing investors, including Blue Chip Venture Company, DFJ and Illinois Ventures.
