Rounding out their roster of online media properties VerticalScope has announced the acquisition of Health Media today.
Health Media allows consumers to find doctor and health information online, one of the site’s key features is its online directory which provides listings of doctors who are currently accepting new patients, rate doctors and consume general health content.
“We founded Health Media Today as a resource for Canadians after struggling to find a family physician ourselves.” Said Nigel Da Costa, Co-Founder of Health Media Today. “Since that time the property has continued to grow and evolve into a tremendously valuable resource for Canadians. After 6 years we feel we have taken Health Media Today as far as we could and we are excited to see its growth and evolution with a great company like VerticalScope” added Da Costa
No financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
