Earlier this week we broke the story about Angus Frame quitting his role at The Globe and Mail. We have also now confirmed from multiple sources that Craig Saila has also left The Globe and Mail. Craig was Director, Reader Experience, a role he held for the last 5 years. Much like Angus, Craig played a key role in helping the newspaper create and execute its current digital strategy and products which include the website and mobile apps. This was the second time that he had worked at The Globe and Mail. Some of Craig’s past roles include Director, Web Design and Development at msnbc.com; Manager, Online Product Development at The Globe and Mail and Designer/Developer at Ontario Science Centre.
No word yet on what Craig will do next.
