Rory CapernTwitter Canada has a new person in the top seat as the news has finally broken that Rory Capern will take over for Kirstine Stewart who was promoted last year.  Rory joins from Google Canada where he was the company’s Head of Partnerships, and before that he held various positions at Microsoft Canada. At Microsoft Rory was Lead, Business Development – Advertising and Platforms; Lead, Digital Solution Sales – Telecom, Technology, and Media & Entertainment and Lead, Social Media and Network Development.

Rory’s appointment marks the second person to run Twitter Canada.   We broke the news back in 2011 that Twitter was looking to expand with a Toronto office, and then broke the news with Kirstine Stewart was hired in the role.
