rp_Simon-Jennings.jpgAround four years ago we reported that Simon Jennings had joined La Presse to head up sales for its new Toronto office.  He quickly grew the business and formed yet another great team.

Today, it was announced that Simon Jennings will be leaving his position as President, La Presse Group Sales in Toronto as of June 24, 2016.

Needless to say if you have worked in the Canadian digital media industry you will know who Simon Jennings is and aware of his many accomplishments so far, his track record speaks for it self and the industry has noticed!

In a statement issues to the La Presse team, Michel Gagnon, Vice-President, Revenue and Brand Management added:

I thank Simon most sincerely for his outstanding contribution these past few years. Thanks to his wide-ranging expertise in media sales and solid management experience, we have laid the foundation for our organization to maintain its great momentum going forward. Simon has accepted a new senior executive role with another company. We wish him every success in his new role.

Management of La Press Sales will be handled by Merida Lake who was appointed General Manager back in August 2013.
