We have been hearing some rumours about Corby Fine for the last month that would impact his role with Rogers, but did not have any verified information. We have now confirmed that Corby Fine gave notice to Rogers as he prepares for his next role.

The timing is very interesting, but could just be coincidence as last week Rogers announced the company was able to negotiate terms with TELUS to have Joseph Natale released from his non-compete clause and scheduled to be named the fourth CEO of Rogers this week. For Rogers this could not come at a better time as Canada’s largest communications company has been without a CEO for six months, and went through one of the worst year’s in the company’s history in 2016.
