So how did you ring in 2018? If you are Joe Strolz you hung out with your boss (Evan Spiegel), oh and Drake.  Snapchat hosted an amazing New Year’s Eve company wide party at the Microsoft Theatre in L.A.  According to various sources the party cost close to $4 million between renting the venue, flying all Snapchat employees to L.A. and Drake’s performance fee.

Don’t spend too much time looking for photos online, Snapchat issued a digital cone on the area surrounding the Microsoft Theatre and made all attendees sign an NDA which prevented them from sharing any photos on social media, but one of two leaked out such as this one below…

Random free (for me) Drake concert on NYE ???????????? Shit crazy.

Back in July of 2017, Snap hired Joe Strolz to run operations in Canada.  Snapchat has been relatively quiet in Canada, but let’s see how things go in 2018.

Snapchat and other social networks will be one of the topics of conversation at our “State of the Nation – 2018, The Year Of The…” event on January 24th.
