As the look to raise awareness for support for Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations (CCHF) the health organization recently launched its latest campaign presented by Walmart Canada. The program celebrates children and their remarkable stories of care from hospitals across Canada, to showcase the significant impact the hospitals have in each of their communities in order to raise funds locally to continue their essential work.

A fully digital campaign called “Stand by our Champions,” was created and launched with a national celebration event in Ottawa, welcoming 11 children “Champions” from 12 hospital foundations on March 5 for Children’s Hospital Week.

The campaign called Stand by our Champions” includes a video (see below), shot with 12 of the brave Champions in Ottawa who sing the powerful classic, Stand by Me, asks viewers to #StandByOurChampions in support of the hospitals that treat more than 2.3 million kids each year. The celebration was followed by a larger gathering of youth from across the US in Orlando from March 6 to 9, where the video made its debut. Additional live content in Orlando was shot to generate social media support profiling the Champion children and their heartwarming stories.
