It is no secret that Snapchat (Snap) is currently going through a crisis of identity as the once promising social network continues to lose the faith of its users, advertisers and Wall Street. Last year a design to the app started an avalanche of troubles that resulted in a number of senior level exits including Chief Strategy Officer Imran Khan, VP of Marketing Steve LaBella; VP of Hardware Mark Randall (who over saw Spectacles), Communications chief Mary Ritti, VP of Product Tom Conrad, and Stone’s predecessor, Drew Vollero, who exited CFO role last May.
