Stephen ForbesSome big executive shuffles came down at one of Canada’s largest financial institutions. This afternoon CIBC [TCO] shared with the media that Stephen Forbes, Former EVP of banking centres will be entering a newly created role as EVP of Purpose, Brand and Marketing. In the new role Stephen will be responsible for establishing a “purpose-driven culture that defines who we are internally and externally.
Rob Assimakopoulos, CMO of CIBC will report to Stephen and oversight of Jennifer Hubbard, Managing Director of Financial Planning and Advice, and Dave Nicholson, VP of Brand Purpose. Before the shift Rob reported to Lynne Kilpatrick, EVP of Client Strategy and Marketing.
