This is a surprising number when only 32% of children are actually planning on buying an experiential gift, she is known as the #SocialMom.

So why not treat mom to what she really wants this year – like a meal together, tickets to an event, or a mini-vacation!

With 80% of people planning to buy their Mom a gift and the average spend increasing to over $100, it is important that Mom gets something she truly wants! , a leading savings website, provides insight into what would make her happiest on this red-letter day.

The #ClassicMom

26% of mothers would still love to receive a more traditional Mother’s Day gift, such as: flowers, chocolates, fashion accessories, or a home decor item.

The #MeTimeMom

Sometimes all Mom really needs is a little quiet time alone to recharge. 14% of moms have expressed such wishes, most of whom are moms of younger children. Partners might need to step in and give the gift of self-care with a spa gift card, a face mask for a DIY facial or even a good book to help Mom relax.

Along with the survey findings RetailMeNot.ca is offering countless deals and coupon codes from top Canadian retailers on their website for the special day.
