MobeewaveCOVID-19 continues to change the way that we all do business and smart companies are getting ahead of the trends.  Recently Apple made another acquisition in Canada as they picked up Mobeewave.  The Montreal-based company allows make contactless payments with their phones, without the need for any external hardware. The firm has agreements in place with National Bank of Canada, Australia’s Commonwealth Bank and Polskie Platnosci, to name a few.

According to reports from Bloomberg, Apple reportedly paid $100 million for the company, and will add add extra ability for small busines a way to accept card payments without the need to acquire a separate card reader from the likes of Square and iZettle.
