It looks like Vancouver-based Hootsuite is back in growth mode as they have made their first acquisition in over a year. Hootsuite started the year off by acquiring Sparkcentral, a SaaS provider enabling the future of digital customer engagement through 1:1 conversational messaging channels including Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, WhatsApp, WeChat, SMS, and Chat.

Sparkcentral’s ability to tap into customers digital workflow will be integrated into the Hootsuite offering.
