Could Pornhub’s New Owner Be A Cannabis Entrepreneur?

While you might not admit that you’ve visited the site, if you work in the digital sector you have heard the name Pornhub.
The site has been caught up in various problems, last December Mastercard and Visa cut off PornHub from their payment services due to various illegal content found on the site. Now a report in the Financial Times has revealed a number of details including Bernard Bergemar is the owner of the site, also owns much of MindGeek which runs a number of major porn sites including Pornhub, RedTube, and YouPorn.

Now it seems that Pornhub is looking to be sold, and one of the suitors is an investor group led by a Canadian cannabis entrepreneur and former Liberal Party official. Chuck Rifici, the ousted Co-Founder of Canopy Growth and the former CFO of the Liberal Party of Canada, according to this article.
