Matt Blonder has been appointed as the Chief Digital Officer at Canada Goose. He will be responsible for the strategy, implementation and adoption of all consumer-facing digital platforms. He will drive the brand’s digital innovation and manage the teams responsible for developing the company’s digital roadmap across existing – and new – channels, as well as the company’s IT and Insights teams.
This is the company's first-ever Chief Digital Officer. Prior to the role, Matt was President, Global eCommercePresident, Global eCommerce at Wolverine Worldwide; and before that various roles at Reebok including Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Along with the appointment of Matt the fashion brand has also hired:
- Juliette Streichenberger as President of CGAG and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA);
- Ana Mihaljevic as Head of Global Stores, in addition to her current role of President, North America;
- Daniel Binder as Chief Transformation Officer and EVP, Sales Operations & Planning;
- Patrick Bourke as SVP, Strategy & Corporate Development
While this did not make any major moves to the stock, Canada Goose is up 9.6% this month and these hiring do signal something big is coming soon. These 5 hires will help the brand be a strong competitor in the DTC space, and individual bring 10 - 20+ years within their respective industries.
