Google Pixel gets an assist to reach basketball fans from agency partner Cossette
In the latest campaign, Pixel in the Clutch, shows scenarios where Raptors fans are facing an everyday obstacle. They might be trying to capture their baby’s first words in a noisy kitchen, or stuck with their hands full at a dog’s birthday party and trying to text a friend about Raptors tickets. Whatever it is, their Google Pixel 8 is there in the clutch to assist them. And on the sidelines, Raptors power forward Scottie Barnes and announcer Jack Armstrong do the play-by-play for each spot.
“Every team needs a star player who can step up in the clutch when the game is on the line. And every fan needs a phone they can rely on in those make-or-break moments of daily life,” says Chris Henry, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Devices & Services Canada at Google. “The comedic chemistry between Scottie Barnes and Jack Armstrong brings those everyday moments to life in a way we think fans are going to love.”
The campaign leveraged a combination of television spots, digital OLV and social media to get the message out to consumers about the Google Pixel 8.
