Back in December, one of Canada's largest financial institutions RBC executed a shuffle to its executive marketing team that resulted in Vice Presidents and above taking on new portfolios within the bank.  Unfortunately, the changes did not end there, as a small number of layoffs occurred last week.

The shift includes:

  • Alan Depencier appointed as  SVP, Marketing of Commercial Banking and Insurance
  • Sonia Whiteson has moving to SVP Marketing of Personal Banking
  • Jennifer Weisman has moved to VP Digital Marketing
  • Jennifer Grazel Rubio takes on Global Head of Marketing & Client Strategy

As of last Tuesday, at least 2 people from the marketing team were laid off.
