We are right in the middle of the AI wars. Last week, Google released Gemini 3.0, just a few weeks after OpenAI launched GPT-5. Billions of dollars are being spent to provide solutions that do everything from being our therapist, improving brainstorming, to helping with creative ideas for new advertising campaigns.

La Presse has announced that it has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI, the company behind the ChatGPT generative AI model, for the unauthorized use of its copyright-protected content. The suit seeks acknowledgment and compensation for OpenAI’s use of thousands of La Presse articles to train its AI model without consent or payment.
