Expedia and TD announced an exclusive new relationship that brings together the two brands to offer and deliver a unique online travel experience and customer service level to customers. Through a new website, TD travel cardholders will be able to book travel online or by phone, using their credit card; redeeming their TD Points; or through a combination of both.
The Expedia For TD website, accessible via www.tdrewards.com/expediafortd, is available to TD First Class Travel, Platinum Travel, Classic Travel and Business Travel Visa cardholders. These cardholders will enjoy online flexibility, convenience and value when booking travel through the new site, combined with the ability to earn and redeem TD Points.

“TD is thrilled to be working exclusively with Expedia, Canada’s largest online travel provider, to offer this exceptional online booking experience to TD travel credit cardholders through this new website,” said Christina Panay, VP, Canadian Credit Card Products, TD. “Our cardholders collect TD Points for their hard earned vacations and we want to make booking their trips online even easier and more flexible. We know they will appreciate Expedia’s rich online offering in addition to TD’s robust travel credit card portfolio. It’s an unbeatable combination for our globetrotting customers.”

Game Changer: Creative use of their existing assets, and a smart way for both brands to stay competitive and provide additional value to their existing clients, probably won’t be the type of offering that tips the scale for someone to sign up for a TD card or use Expedia.
