eos x Faulhaber Camp Smooth creator retreat at Camp Walden, Ontario — Group 2, Day 1

Ad- Grow My Agency

The creator marketing landscape is shifting. As audiences grow weary of hyper-curated luxury brand getaways and transactional paid posts, brands are being challenged to find more authentic ways to engage.

Why eos and Faulhaber Traded the Luxury Creator Trip for Canadian Summer Camp

To launch the new Shea Better Cashmere Shave Oil, body care and fragrance brand eos and Toronto-based Faulhaber decided to rethink the traditional influencer playbook. Their solution? Camp Smooth—a five-day retreat for 80 creators hosted at Camp Walden in Ontario, built on a simple but powerful premise: disconnect to reconnect.

The Strategy: Immersion Over Obligation

Instead of a packed itinerary focused on mandatory content creation blocks, Camp Smooth was designed as a relationship-first experience. Faulhaber and eos executed a full camp takeover, blending nostalgic Canadian camp traditions, outdoor activities, and wellness with playful, organic brand integrations.

By prioritizing genuine offline connections, the brand took a calculated risk: banking on the idea that compelling content would become an organic byproduct of a memorable experience, rather than forced output. For eos, it was an opportunity to bring its playful brand personality to life while exploring how experiential marketing (XM) can forge deeper, long-term relationships with creators beyond a standard product launch.

For marketers, the eos and Faulhaber activation serves as a compelling case study in the power of experiential immersion. It proves that sometimes, the most effective way to drive authentic digital connection is to build something people genuinely want to experience together offline.
