Last week Meta, parent company of Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp rolled out Threads, a direct competitor to Twitter. Threads is tied to Instagram and within the first 24 hours, it had been downloaded by over 30 million users. This helped it to make it the fastest-growing app in history.

In this edition of Industry Opinion, we talk to Jen McDonnell, VP of Content and Social Media at Reshift Media Inc. to learn more about her thoughts on the first week of Threads.   Jen provided an interesting comparison of content seen on Threads vs Twitter which she also conveys how that will have a huge impact on the experience for brands.  Jen's group is actively working and experiment with with different content for their client based at Reshift.
