The Canadian Media Directors’ Council (CMDC) announced the winners of its annual YA Future Impact Awards for 2024.  A reception attended by over 300 media professionals recognized the outstanding achievements of young talent shaping the Canadian media industry.

CMDC YA Future Impact Awards

Several volunteers from the industry collaborated as part of the CMDC Youth Ambassador program to plan and execute the YA Future Impact Awards program.  This year’s team included Mallory Thompson, Dominic Humphrey, Mikayla Smith, Devanshi Bhatt, Teryn Clapp, Daniel McDonald, Kateryna Kuritsyna, Emily Nerbas, Davanshi Bhatt, Chicira Foster, Riddhi Lalwani, Joanne Baptista, and Natalie Jacome.

And the winners are..

Notable Newcomer of the Year

Innovator of the Year

Santiago Sandoval, Jungle Media

Young Marketer of the Year
