IKEA Canada has launched “Assemble the World,” transforming its familiar products into a series of playful, shoppable, and shareable country flags just as a major global sporting event kicks off.

Click, Buy, Wave: Inside IKEA’s Cheeky New Creative-Commerce Campaign

Each flag is made entirely from IKEA products, spanning everything from furniture and lighting to home décor, plush toys, and lifestyle accessories. Deliberately playful, each one invites viewers to identify the individual items and then click, purchase, and recreate the flag at home. In total, 18 flags will be created using dozens of IKEA products and will appear both online and in outdoor advertising near IKEA locations.
